Stuck At 312

No, we are not in Chicago or any of its surrounding areas, though the weather we've been having is certainly cold for California. I am referring to the number of this blog's published posts. While I know that no one expects me to post every day, from what I can tell, this is the longest gap between posts ever.

Sure there are reasons why. The busyness of the holiday season is one (which according to the boy, we should all just skip Thanksgiving and go straight from Halloween to Christmas). There's also the weekly consultations with a behaviorist that started the first week of December plus all the usual part and parcel of school. I could also list other things like the laundry, dishes, work, etc., etc. but I don't think you all want to hear about that.

Bottom line, I was not able to sit down and form a (semi) coherent thought. Surprisingly, none of you have left. The followers gadget at the side of this page still display the same number. I will be lying if I say that it does not mean anything. It does. It warms my heart that there are people who are willing to stick it out with my inconsistent writing. More so, a few of you actually read any of this, :).

So I want to say thank you for not leaving. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever winter holiday you celebrate). Here's to a better, more peaceful, more prosperous, less tantrum and almost meltdown free new year.
